Wedding Music: The Processional for My Funeral
This is what I want sung at my funeral. To me, it's the perfect choice for The Bride of Christ's processional into Heaven. (Hallelujah!)

Attitude
by: Charles Swindoll
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

John Newton
"God often takes a course for accomplishing His purposes directly contrary to what our narrow views would prescribe." ~John Newton~
John Newton, born in 1725 was a slave trader who came to know Jeaus Christ as his Savior. His conversion radically changed his life, and as a result, he penned the words of probably the most popular hymn in the English language:
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now I'm found
'Twas blind, but now I see.
Newton wrote his own epitaph
JOHN NEWTON, Clerk
Once an infidel and libertine
A servant of slaves in Africa
Was, by the rich mercy of our Lord and Saviour
JESUS CHRIST,
restored, pardoned, and appointed to preach
the Gospel which he had long laboured to destroy.
He ministered,
Near sixteen years in Olney, in Bucks,
And twenty-eight years in this Church.

TODAY
I must have had one.
Youth?
What a nice word! Youth?
Now!
That's what I know best!
God holds the future.
Now!
Live today as Abba's child.
Find "youth" in today!
Be ready for tomorrow!
Youth?
It's in the dictionary!
Has to be real!
Today is what I experience.
Tomorrow it will be gone.
But when I wake up tomorrow it will be "today".
And I will live today!
Thank God for today!
I will enjoy the folk who cherish yesterday
and relish those who are excited about tomorrow.
Then I will experience the reality of "today".
